What Are Minimum Requirements for MegaTune?

I've tried searching for this, but come back with something like 1700 instances, and the first two pages of the search give me nothing...
I'm looking for the bare minimum for MegaTune so that I can figure out if I can use an older, smaller laptop, or have to stick with a newer, larger laptop.
Thanks!

Jon,
Anything that can run win32 can run MegaTune, we have a handful of die hards with 95 on minimal 486s that work just fine. Older ones are typically preferred for a couple of reasons: they have real serial ports and if you drop it, no great loss.

Hi,
I'm running the latest beta on an old 486dx2 laptop and, actually, I only just got it to work. This old machine is running Win95 and the solution was to update the operating system by installing the last version if I.E made to run on Win95. That is I.E 5.5 SP2. Before I did this MT 225 xxx would not run and I became embroiled in the confusion of installing various DLL's etc which never really solved anything! After installing I.E 5.5 SP2 it now runs. However MTCFG.EXE still crashes. Close enought for me! Hope this helps... Regards...

Thanks for all the info! I don't know that I'll use 95, but I'm thinking that 98 might be do-able!
I'm assuming that Windows CE is not win32...? Probably 16?

Jon,
CE might work, but usually the devices that run it don't have enough screen real estate to support MT. You should have at least a 640x480 screen to make sense of the tables and tuning dialogs...

Ah, thanks, Eric. Yeah, the screen I was looking at was the HP Palmtop, and there isn't a lot of real estate there... I had hoped to maybe scroll. I'll check the specs on the Palmtop.
I'm really bummed that the Palm software will not be compatible with the MSII. I'd love to do away with the necessity of using a laptop (especially since I ALWAYS carry my Palm with me where ever I go!). -sigh-

I don't know what windows mobile 5 is, is it a win32 variant? What sort of hardware does it run on (Intel x86 processor)?
