Hi....
I am a bit lost. Its my 1st instalation of a Microsquirt module V2.2 . I have done the wiring and I have a hall sensor as an input which is generating pulses pulled to ground. Where should I connect te hall sensore ??? On opt- and keep opt+ on +12V or on VR+ ???? I am looking all over the forum and still lost..... Thanks for the reply!!!!

Hi dimlocogr,
...I have a hall sensor as an input which is generating pulses pulled to ground...
Are you saying, that when you move a piece of metal near the sensor it goes to 0V?

My Hall sensors worked the opposite way, and went positive, 0,755 mV, and these circuits worked for the cased v2 MicroSquirt & v2.2 Module board.
The bottom image is the module board (with the ALT_CAM) version. You should hook up a voltmeter to the Hall sensor and establish what its voltage levels are for excited & steady state, and then this will give you clues how to use the OPTO± pins.

PS I also posted this earlier in the thread, which might be useful, as it describes how your sensor works (I think).
So it might be as simple as changing your "Ignition Capture settings" :)

Thanks for the reply. I managed to find the solution to my problem with a LED. When window passes in front of the sensor the sensor is open and when the metal in front of the sensor it pulls to ground so I needed an pull - up resistor to the +12V in order to produce a clean signal.
