Version 1 or 2? Knock sensor

Is there an easy way to tell which version of Microsquirt I have?
I wanted to hook up a knock sensor, but I have a feeling I might have version 1 (beta) which won't have pin 5 connected.

Hi
hybrid,
Is there an easy way to tell which version of Microsquirt I have?
How about describing it? Look at the online manual maybe?
Is it cased in metal or plastic or a bare board (module)?
Has it got a red circuit board, or a black board?
To hook up a knock sensor you need an add-on board top process the signal.

It's a metal case, but my understanding is that both V1 and V2 had that same case.
Not sure what colour the board is. Will the board have the version printed?
I looked at the manual, but it doesn't seem to help.
I'm planning on using the knocksense unit if my Microsquirt can use it.

Ok, I have the red board and it says 0.9, so I guess that's because it's one of the beta units.
Next question - is there any way I can modify this hardware so that pin5 is connected, or is it too fiddly?

Looking at the V2 schematic, it looks like I just need a 1k resistor in series, and a 0.01uF capacitor in parallel, then out to pin 5.
That sounds do-able to me?
