MicroSquirt.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

Hello again

Was trying to update the firmware, on my Microsquirt V3, from 3.76 to 3.83 using MS Download 2.0

During the writing process some trouble succeed, RAM was erased but the writing of the new code was interrupted at 15%

What can I do now? ECU does not respond and I am certainly afraid..

I am enclosing a screen capture if it helps

If this was mine, I would also try reloading the code several times to see if it will work on another try. Make sure you cycle the power on the controller each time (and ground the bootloader lead when powering up), and be sure to close the downloader program before trying to use it again.

Problem solved

You were right Lance, it was a comm trouble, one of the USB ports on my laptop was faulty and making the mistake. I tryed with a different port and the update was perfect at the first try
