quadspark/microsquirtV3

Post by Zetecrick »

Where do the purple, green, pink, and white wires on the quadspark connect when used with a microsquirt V3? I understand where the yellow/green and blue and orange wires go.

Thanks.

These go to the coil side, as noted here:

It a Ford wasted spark with two coils. Three wires, power and ignition 1 & 2. No plus or minus.
Thanks for your help.

Using B&G code, the MicroSquirt only has 2 ignition channels, so half the (coloured) wires won't be used. Assuming you are using channels A & B on the QuadSpark, you would wire it as follows:
  • Yellow - uS PIn 12 (IGN1)
    White - Coil IGN 1
    Orange - uS Pin 11 (IGN2)
    Pink - Coil IGN 2
    Black x 4 - Engine ground
Dk Green, Lt Green, Blue, Violet - unused
Switched +12v (from Main relay or FP relay) to Coil Power
