Suzuki GS1000 ignition pickups and dual spark
When attempting to use these with the Microsquirt, I found they shared a common ground, so I rewired them so each has an output and ground. These were wired to the VR1 and VR2 pins as shown in the dual spark diagram using shielded cable. I see an RPM reading when cranking, and I have spark at the plugs for both #3 and #4 (did not test 1 and 2 as they are on the same coils).
The bike will not start. The battery was low but is being recharged. I've asked about the CLT reading in another post in the proper section. I'll attach the MSQ file. My data log files are in CSV format and I see I cannot attach them. I have the setup as dual spark, dual tach inputs and M=0 on the advanced ignition screen. The output is tied together and grayed out no matter what option I select.
I need help with timing settings to get the bike to run. Advice on MS Extra was as follows:
And start for cranking advance at 7 BTDC and start the timing table at 10 BTDC to 1500 RPM.
How do I implement this using Tuner Studio?
EDIT
I also have attached a screencap from the Tachref program. It's a little messed up in the middle where I tried to splice the pics together.
