C20let on Microsquirt - Miss firing issue?

Post by alid2033 »

Hey there all, ive currently built up my engine to the following spec :

C20let engine
86.5mm pistons,
T34 Turbo and manifold with external wastegate.
LC-1 Wideband
3" downpipe and exhaust system
3" Boost Piping
Adustable Fuel Regualtor Set at 3 Bar.
Limited to 300cc injectors.
Wasted spark from an XEV Engine
Microsquirt V2 - MS2 Extra Code.

Ive had a few problems recently one having the old head lift and the gasket go.
I have rebuilt it with a coscast head and cosmetic tripple layer steel head gasket and new stem seals etc.
Turbo has had a rebuild too. I know that 300cc injectors will only be good for so much hp but i just want to get her running for an mot i will upgrade the injectors in the next few months (building a new inlet from injected bike carbs )

So its all back together and is running however the problem now is the car seems hesitant until i adjust the Warmup enrichments and hit 'burn' whilst its running, it then picks up and gets rid of this miss fire and runs lovely, but each time i power the engine off and restart the miss fire re emmerges. Ive checked most my reading and they seem ok, ive noticed the coolant spikes a bit but nothing drastic.

I have had new ht leads fitted at the weekend and tested on 3 differnt coil packs but the problem is still there.

please could some one help me ive been scrathing my head for a few months now on this issue. i have cleaned all grounds ( im using a hks circle earth )

I will attach a Data log and my car's setup files if someone could help id be much appreciated.

Cheers

Al

That's a lot of data logs - which one captures the misfire?
