What Size Map Sensor

I have a normally aspirated Motor.

What are the advantages of different size map sensors?

I would prefer the Map sensor(in Microsquirt) to only show 0 to 100 kpa. I don't need any more range.

But sometimes a 2 or 3 bar sensor may be cheaper.

Can you limit a 2 or 3 bar sensor to only show 1 bar in the Software?

The advantage of a 1 bara sensor is granularity - for a given change in voltage, you have a smaller change in pressure. Take a look at the MPX4115AP which is a lower-rated version of the standard sensor used on the MegaSquirt.

You can't rescale a pressure sensor.

Thanx!

That's what I was thinking why I would want a 1 bar sensor.

Sorry I forgot to answer your e-mail. Combination of a crazy week and old man syndrome.
You can find the mpx sensors on E-Bay for a pretty decent price.
