JP1 and Sb1/SB2 on Microsquirt V3

Hi, i was wordering what the JP1 connector is made for and why is there on the botton of the microsquirt two bridges (SB1 and SB2)?

The JP1 connector is to allow a BDM cable to be used for live debugging and bootloader repair, generally by someone who knows a LOT more about programming these things than I do!
The two solder jumpers, when filled, bring a shunt resistor across the VR+ and VR- input terminals, reducing the strength of the input signal and preventing false triggers at high RPM.

Thanks a lot for the info.
Wouldn't it be a great idea to improve the documentation of Microsquirt, because for example i have seen nowhere informations about JP1 and SB1/SB2?
Just an idea...

The documentation was significantly re-written with the new V3.0 model;
the info about the jumpers is here. Note that the two jumpers are used one per circuit, VR1 & VR2; re-reading my previous comment, it occurs to me that it could be read that you always fill in both. One or two or none, as needed ...
Indexing has always been a bane of the Megasquirt / Microsquirt docs. While the presentation of the info on the individual pages in the newest writing is better, they've lost a fair bit of that searchability.
