Pull up's

Hi. Building my first v2.2 module project and ran up to basic questions. Do I need any pull'ups for hall input and spark outputs? I'm guessing yes ? Hall is 12V and coil is VW coilpack with module. 470ohm to 5V @ outputs and 1k to 12V @ input ?
I tried to read all of the manual links, but couldn't find anyting written in text
