Microsquirt Megalogviewer and Innovate compatibility

Maybe it has to do with pattends or something. I'm probably not the first to think of it... though i couldn't find nothing about it...

But wouldn't it have been nice, if i could log my Microsquirt which uses a 3.5mm jack for serial out with my Innovate LM-2 which uses a 3.5mm jack for serial in and that the recorded logfile would be compatible with Megalogviewer, so it would be readable?

Would it be too hard to make a Microsquirt, part of an Innovate MTS log chain?

Carrying a laptop on a motorcycle just isn't very practical.

I've got the squirt and i've got an LM-2 it'd be awesome if i could just click em together and press record.

Isn't your MicroSquirt already logging the WB voltage?
If it is primarily getting rid of the laptop, try shadow logger.

Yes, it's about getting rid of the laptop. It's also about not wanting to buy more hardware to do things simular to things i can do with stuff i already have.

Currently i log with the LM-2, which is at the end of a LC-1 - SSI-4 chain. I used this setup to tweak a Powercommander. Now i've got the squirt and i left the other things in place...

Anyways, it was just a thought, but at some point i was thinking, hey, this stuff all uses the same 3.5mm jack, wouldn't it be great if it worked together.

Don't understand why the microsquirt still doesn't have an USB output (cable not slot, so you can have your stick where you want it) to which it would just autolog if a stick is inserted. I guess it would cost more, but imo it'd be priceless. Who wants to lug a laptop around on their motorcycle, let alone jetski....
