Microsquirt driving MD 6A

I notice in the sticky here, Bruce mentions to set the Output to "going high" when driving coils directly from the Micro.
Is this the same when driving a MSD box?

At the moment, I have it set to "going low" and the MSD is triggering. If I set it to "going high" it doesn't seem to work, so I'm a bit confused. I thought the MSD should work the same as driving a coil.

It does work like driving a coil, but it will change your timing to a totally different point if you change the output polarity.

Thanks Matt.
So I definitely should be set to "going high (inverted)" when triggering an MSD from a Microsquirt that has the VB921's built in?

Correct.
