Probs with RPM on V3-Board; MicroSquirt; original Pickup

Post by TwoStrokeRider »

Hello!
I'm a newbie here but I'm a member in a german MS-forum.
Unfortunately, nobody could help me.

I hope you guys can help me to solve this problem:
I use a MicroSquirt with the 2.9er code and an original 1tooth-pickup system from an common scooter engine.
It generates a VR-Signal but only uses one wire. The ground signal of the sensor leads directly to its fixing. So I catched the signal with an added wire.
In the attachment you can see my measured signals of the VR-sensor at idle and at 100%TPS.
I read, it should be possible to adjust the VR-signal on V3-Board by using the potis R52 and R56 but I couldn't find the both on my MicroSquirtBoard. So how can I adjust the signal do fit my rpm???

Any advices??

Thank you for reading this.

MicroSquirts omit the VR trim pots. You might want to try reversing the polarity on the wires.

Thanks for answering so fast, Matt.

Nope, it didn't help.
Do you got any experiences with 1ToothVRpickupSystems?
Could it be my adjustments of the signal processing are false?

Here they are :RTFM: :
Predictor Algorithm: Last Interval
Time Mask: 0,0
Percentage Mask: 50%
Next-Pulse Tol. Cranking: 75
Next-Pulse Tol. After-start: 50
Next-Pulse Tol. running: 40
Check Tach Sync: Always
Ignition Input Capture: Falling Edge
Cranking Trigger: Calculated

It could be some other setting - could you please post the whole MSQ?
