I'm working on a V-twin using dual spark outputs. See attached pdf for a timing diagram.

I have the msq set for 36 -2 ok.

What should I enter for delay teeth? 4?

Should the offset angle for #2 be +80 or -80?

Running 2.89 code.

Thanks

Delay teeth would depend on where cam sensor is and what stroke you want and what trigger offset is set at.

Offset angle depends on the actual duration between firing. +80 or -80 is +or- from the point that is 360* after #1.

There is a new link to some documentation Lance and I prepared to try to make it easier to understand how to set up dual spark ignitions. It was written for the sequencer, but applies equally well to microsquirt. So try thie link: http://www.megamanual.com/seq/multichannel.htm I realize that Odd Angle fuel timing is still difficult - almost impossible to explain, and you can only get certain regions for injector open time. This came about because I had no intention of implementing odd-fire, but a simple way to handle ignition appeared and I used it. It works fine for its purpose, but it is impossible to extend it to complete fuel timing. But it will get you out of a bad place for injection, and that is good enough in most cases.
