Option+ and Option- Distributer wiring
Need Help!! with initial wiring in a Air Cooled VW Sand Rail, I am using the VW Distributer with a Compufire Electronic Magnetic Pick Up and an MSD 6A and MSD coil. I have the Option+ (Grey/Red) wire going to the Distributer Pick Up + and the Option - wire going to the Distributer Pick Up - and the coil doesn't fire. The MSD is wired according to the diagrams provided in the manual. Any Help would be appriciated...

Do you have a wiring diagram of how this pick up is normally wired up? You may just have to ground the OPTION- wire.
