lc1 with anolog gauge

Post by supertuner »

I have a lc1 with a westach anolog gauge, the gauge reads from 8-18 afr. I am running alchohal wich has an afr of 6.4 but the gauge dosn't go down that low. Does anybody make a gauge that low, or is there a way to cheat to get an acurate reading?

In fact it reads the lambda factor, aka oxygen content, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it should read 14.7 when you attain the stoic combustion of your alchool at 6.4 (lambda=1)
It's just sold for the mainstream gas engines

You could take the glass off the gauge (pretty tricky but possible) and stick new numbers on the scale.

The XD-16 can read AFRs for other fuels without mods.
