MicroSquirt.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I can get my motor to run, however in megatune my rpms read all over the map. The bars on the bottom, ase,wue, etc flicker from side to side.

This is my setup. I am running fuel only, I am sharing the vr sensor that runs my cdi box. I am running my vr wires to the cox vr input wires on microsquirt. My flywheel only has 1 wide tooth on it to trigger vr sensor.

What should my ignition settings be set at in megatune?

what type of engine...bike , car. wasted spark, normal coils

I have a 2-Stroke ,Single Cyl. It has A Rotor-(Magnito)-Rotor & Stator & VR Senser on the Crank. It has a CDI BOX & a COIL also. All the pictures ever show is a TOOTHED WHEEL with a VR SENSER . I wonder if I can run my stock ignition with MicroSquirt?. I can't seem to find anything that says you can or can't . Any Info would be very helpful, Thank You .

i didnt have any luck with my vr circuit
i used the opto + and -...
connect the negative to a good earth point, connect the positve to the negative side of your coil, i had to use a zener diode when i connected to the coil.
i started with 24volt, i am now on a 75 volt to control the surges
