are there any tests that i can carry out on my microsquirt before i send it back to the supplier.
idealy i want to test the opto circuit....
or is there a sequence i have to go through first
example... opto + to opto - a value of 50 ohms ?

Hooking it to a JimStim can be pretty straightforward, but one easy way to use this is to ground OPTOIN - and tap OPTOIN+ to the VREF wire off and on to see if you can get an RPM signal. You'd need any wheel decoders turned off before trying this.
