Cranking pulse widths
but it doesnt matter what pulse width i enter my bike still wont start from cold, once started it will start but i have to open the throttle.
i have power during cranking, i have set the correct required fuel, its fuel only.
i am using the ten point table, should i go two point ?
can i enter a figure higher than my required fuel ?
could it be my ve table is to far out ?

Is it a fuel problem or an air problem?
On the fuel side, what do you have your priming pulses set to?

Re: Cranking pulse widths
the priming pulsewidths are 2 ms.
i thought these didnt matter, these are just to bleed the air out of the system ?

and ran....
it won't start unaided when warm...
is it better to tune the ve table first and then sort out the enrichments and cranking pulse widths

Yes, if you can. Having a good VE table to "land in" will make starting a lot easier.pommie02 wrote:is it better to tune the ve table first and then sort out the enrichments and cranking pulse widths
