I have read the MicroSquirt on-line documentation, and this forum, but I haven't been able to find an answer to my problem.

Here is the background.

I purchased a MiscroSquirt (new) in December 2007. I downloaded and installed the MegaTune225p1 setup.exe file on my laptop from the link on this web site. http://www.microsquirt.info/setup.htm

I have been using the MegaTune documentation on this web site. http://www.megamanual.com/megatune.htm

There are several inconsistencies relating to the menus and the contents of the dialog boxes between the MegaTune 2.25 p1 software and the MegaTune documentation.

Is the MegaTune 2.25 p1 software the correct version to be using with the MicroSquirt?

If so, is there another version of the MegaTune documentation that has fewer inconsistencies?

I would be grateful for any Assistance or advice.

Thanks.

Blue,

You should be using the latest 2.883j code and 2.8 INI from here: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/code.htm

(Or you can install it automatically with the downloader: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/downl2.htm)

The help file for the latest code is here: http://www.megamanual.com/mt28.htm

Thanks very much for your help Lance.

My MicroSquirt came with the embedded code already installed, and I have not changed it in that respect. Is there any reason to think that my MicroSquirt has anything other than the 2.88j code installed?

Is MegaTune 2.25 p1 the version that I should be using to tune my MicroSquirt?

Thanks again.
