I see that I can use auto tune, using a narrow band sensor.
can i use a 2 wire sensor or does it have to have a heater (3/4 wire)

With a Narrow band sensor you can use a single wire, 3 wire or 4 wire. Be aware that it takes the non-heated sensor more time to warm up, that is, if it's located close to the exhaust ports. Also you may not get a good reading with a single wire NBEGO unless you ground your exhaust system with a deticated ground strap.
In my experience Autotune works great with Narrowband sensors, You should get a nice neat 14.7-1 afr all around. Be aware that you cannot use a NB at very high loading or under boost, due to inaccuracies of the sensor under these conditions.
