I have problem to use this code, configure all setting
Try to run the engine, rpm arrive to 280 rpm but fuel pump don't go, no spark, nothing!
I double check all, try to put the 2.883j in MSII (before running whit extra code) same problem!!! what I wrong??

puntogt4,
Does it work on the stim?
Do yo have a datalog? MSQ? Can you describe the ignition trigger configuration?

Under ECU type it looks like you selected the MS II option (1) instead of the microsquirt (2). Which unit do you have ?

Sorry, I have attach the file test in MSII, here ecu type is 1
but on microsquirt is 2 and on both i have the same identical problem...

upgrade
ok here the 1°
log is when i want run the engine, like MSII show the rpm but no cranking in megatune
On 2°
i disconnect the VR sensor and place it on my simulator ( is a 36-1 wheel + cam pulse drive by a DC motor)
Here very strange... i run the wheel before to get power to microsquirt fuel pump continues work and spark arrive! then stop the wheel wait stopping fuel pump and start again, nothing no spark no fuel pump ( this are show on 2° log)
sometime when i move the wheel by hand run-stop-run-stop, on the moment when i stop fuel start if i run again the wheel all work also at very low rpm
Can somebody help me to found were i wrong? configuration in megatune? i try to download more time the code but same result

2° day...
I reload again the file, test with my free wheel ad look more:
when the wheel stop sometime fuel punp go and if i run again the wheel
spark arrive, but inj. no.
the advance is at the same angle....
I'm not sure but the fuel pump start when the wheel stop in the midle of 2 toth.
For end i try to test the injctors (by using the option) and now am not able to go back again the microsquirt is still in repeat mode, to stop I have to reload again the code by ms2dl104
Here one log of test

The problem you are having is that you are not getting synch. The only way to solve this is to do one thing at a time and have a reason for it. So get back to your original microsquirt ECU and msq after downloading again the code.. If you look at your first datalog, you can see that the engine column stays at 1 during cranking. It should be 2 or greater if you had synch. You are using a very common setup so I know the code works for this and your msq shows that all the dual spark/ wheel data is configured correctly. So I am guessing the problem is that the tach inputs are not right electronically. Here are some things to try in order to get reliable spark during cranking. Reliable means you can put a timing light on it and see a fairly constant advance.
Set the injector Start to 0% now - I don't think you can use 180%, I think it has to be less than about 70-80%, but make it 0 for now.
Try reversing the tach input polarity (rising edge to falling edge or vice versa).but leave the wiring. If this doesn't help, go back to what you had..
Try using the code I recently (yesterday I think) released in the Ignition Tuning section (----v2.883jt1) for geoffct. Datalog this run. You should also read the posts in this section to see if any of the problems are similar to yours and read how they were solved.
Don't worry about the fuel pump. If the ECU does not get synch within 2 sec it turns off, but will turn back on when you get synch.
When I get a chance, I will try your msq on my bench and see if I notice anything.

OK, I tried out your msq and found a few other problems:
Your channel 2 ignition output was all wrong. This was caused by using trigger return for the cranking trigger. This is only for special wheels - you must use either trigger rise or calculated trigger. Because you have a 60 tooth wheel you have very accurate timing and can use calculated trigger even during cranking.
The ECU would not go into cranking mode. This was caused by the Injector Timing Delay of 180%. I set it to 0 and it cleared up the problem.
With those two changes, I got steady ignition outputs on the scope for both channels.
So make those two changes and you should see some improvement - it may even fire and run fine because your rpms were consistent, but one of the spark outputs was all wrong. I believe you were getting synch, now that I understand why the engine column was 1.

Thank you!
He had the problem!
On the Ini file now I put "98" instead of "255" as the limit
For the cranking it was set in triggers return but only for test now is trigger rise....
Now the bike run very nici (but specially RUN

)
Only a little issue is when the engine stop, too low rpm or bad VE... if i try to run again the fuel pump don't star, i need to reset and run again...
many thanks again for your support
