Most TPSs will work except ones that are basically an on/off switch. With the MAP sensor, do you know if it is voltage or frequency based?

I've had a couple of them, both of mine were the "normal" potentiometer type.

Ideally you'd want a factory service manual, if not, you'd probably be best with an oscilloscope. But an analog volt meter will at least establish what type of sensor it is if you power it up and connect the meter to the output. A voltage based one will give a steady signal and a frequency based one will bounce.

You will need to get a calibration curve for this sensor, somewhere. A meter test may not be enough.

I've responded to your email.

I think I'll just buy a GM one ....it might be easier
