Is it possible to hook up a WB sensor directly to microSquirt, or do you need the output from a WB controller. Most of the controllers are pricey, and you don't need the extra stuff the controllers do (like datalog) if you are using Megatune.

The Microsquirt does not have the neccessary controller hardware to control a WBEGO sensor directly.

Have you looked at the JAW controller? I've got one running one my truck using Megasquirt and it seems to work just fine with the latest High res output table emulating the LC-1. Click here for the JAW web site

MegaScott,

The Jaw controller looks perfect. That's what I was looking for. I think it'll do the job. I assume Microsquirt can read the JAW output without any issues...

The Microsquirt is really just a miniature MSV3 and MS2 all on one small board, with the exception of the Vr circuits, lack of injector PWM and one additional ignition output channel, the Microsquirt O2 input is the same as any other Megasquirt.

In the JAW download site you need to download and burn the latest firmware. Then run the JAW edit software on your PC and program it for the LC-1 defaults on the channel you are hooking to the Megasquirt. Then setup the Megasquirt for the LC-1 widband controller and your golden.

Got my JAW Controller and Display.

Everything seems to be in working order right now. Just need to put the WB on the car and hook up some voltage to the controller.
