hi all
need a little help on what i need for ignition control for the above engine

got my head around the fuel injection part just need help with this

i know there is no toothed wheel on it and there is a timming node of some sort on the outside of the flywheel

wanted to know what set up would be best for firing the coil(twin leads of it)
ps would a farad capacitor act like a second battery as i want to run with an o2 looped

from what i can gather my engine uses a cdi coil

and a vr pickup

from what ive read there are problems with noise using this set up

my understanding thus far is i need to use a high farad capacitor to clean the signal would i then be ok to use the cdi
or would switching to tci and opto-in be a better option

slowly getting my head around this any pointers will be appreciated
as my head is full of two stroke fueling probs

You should be able to run a VR sensor and cdi ignition - many people do. The farad apacitor will be a big help for this in damping the sudden current draw from the cdi; the other thing to do is to use twisted pair shielded VR sensor wires and keep them away from the high voltage wires.
