Recently installed MSII - 5.0l Mustang w/ B&M Supercharger - TFI & MSD ignition.
Car runs good most of the time. Running full MAP based Accel. We are getting vioilent surges if you idle along in gear. Surges start slow and build to the point of chirping tires ever surge. I've attached a datalog, surge is from time index 78 - 82. I noticed that the log shows the MS dropping out if "Run" at each surge. What could cause this?

Thanks for you assistance

This may not be related, but it seems your TPS isn't configured.

And you haven't got much vacuum?

As for the surges, try flatten out the Fuel map? Its probably not that, but atleast then it'll you see what is influencing it.

TPS is working, but seems to have a noisy signal. Jumps around a lot. When we condigured it, get a throttle closed number around 840 and wot at 1015. Megatune gave error message that these numbes look funny, but accepted them anyway. Tried a different sensor and adjsuting it, but got the same results. That's why we have it set to 100% MAP acccel. Thought car has normal vacuum. Showing what I'd expect on the boost/vacuum gauge.

maybe Im reading it wrong, but I normally get 40-50kPa with the old manifold... different story with the 6 throttle body setup, but thats for obvious reasons.

Perhaps its the norm for your setup... just enquiring.
