Cold/Hot cranking

Hi
I have some problem to start my engine when is hot. How many degrees need an engine to start? My engine is a VW 2.0L 16V compr 11.8:1
Righr now i use the default cranking angle from the software but i think Ineed to change it. At Idle, ign angle is 12deg btdc.
