hesitation on accel with MAP? (no tps in system)

Post by sudseh »

system specs:
1984 VW Van
116cid
22lb/hr(i think) injectors
ms1 running latest msns-extra

The van runs phenominally using RPM based enrichment. It pulls strong to 5500rpm and I have really enjoyed driving it again.

That said, it also idles a bit high (1k-rpm vs 800-rpm), drinks gas like it is still $.75/gal. and whenever I switch over to MAP based accel. enrichment, the van hesitates and does not like to accelerate. I am using a VE table created by megatune.

It's a bit late now, so I can't do another run around the block regarding a datalog, but I am attaching my .msq file for comments.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/criticisms.

Looks like you have Wideband EGO(?)
Send a datalog and people can probably help with that fuel milage and idle speed.

I'll definately do that when I get the next chance to work on the van.
