Hi all
I am now supplying 10mm thick flanges jet cut from aluminium, to enanble individuals to weld up their own inlet manifolds.
I currently have in stock plenty of VW 16v and DCOE 45 flanges and 1 audi 20v 5 cylinder.
I can also make to order one off specials for almost any engine as long as the inlet manifold gasket is supplied.

what would one-offs cost? Can you do mild steel as well?

Yes i can do these in whatever ferous / nonferous material you want.
The standard flanges i have in stock are £43.00 GBP and the one offs i can do for about £65.00 GBP in aluminium.
The reason why the one offs cost more is because the machine will need programming.
Any more questions just ask

Any idea of shipping to the US (Zip code 90815)? I like that the DCOE flanges are one piece, but I'm afraid that shipping and the pound-to-dollar exchange rate is going to make it too expensive.
Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert
I your right about the pound to dollar situation, it is a major problem in this country, it is actually killing manufacturing, and the government are not helping the situation by having policy that is driving the country into a service exporter.
what do you think would be a good price for the DCOE, What i can do is offer postage and packing free, if that helps.
BTW - 1973 2002 is one of my favourite cars classic cars - do you have any pictures.

Last time I bought some flanges I am sure theywere about 20% less than that.
The guy I bought them from does BMW M20, VW 16v, Zetec, Pinto, Rover V8, Ford Crossflow, Volvo B21, Toyota 3S-GTE, Rover K
series, Rover T series, Honda B series, Honda D series , DCOE, DCNF
and IDF.

Hi Bill
The 20% is due to me only having enough cash to cut a small number at first (The flanges you can see in the pictures).
If i had confidence that i could sell a higher volume of them then the cost would come down as i could cut in batches of 30 - 50.
I am looking into producing them on US soil in the hope that the price could be smashed for the US market. But in the meantime i am left with producing these in the UK, which is probabley the most expensive country to manufacture in.
I am also busy designing a few other profiles aswell, some of which you have listed above.
i do appreciate what you are saying about the price, It does need to come down. But it is no by no means high due to me putting a high margin of profit on them.
