has anyone megasquirted using benzene mixed with octane fuel?

I run a benzene/octane mix in a cabeuretted 4k engine. the mix is 750mL into 15L of 95 RON and is probably about 10% more powerful than regular gas. Tuning seems no different to pump gas, all done my ear mind you.

I was under the impression that the higher octane fuels just had more benzine added at the factory anyway? Tuning should be no different to normall 95 ron apart from being able to use more ignition advance.

I used to use Shell Optimax (98 ron?) with good results, found the BP Ultimate I use now has a lot less resistance to knock but they caim it`s 97+ ron so not a lot in it by all accounts.

How does the oxtane boost from benzene compare to what you get from adding xylene or toluene?
