Can someone explain what to do with Acceleration Wizard?

For discussing MicroSquirt (TM) configuration and tuning of fuel parameters (including idle valves, etc.).

Can someone explain what to do with Acceleration Wizard?

Post by Jon k »

As the topic states the field names in this table make no sense to me and I've looked around but can't find a good "guide". Can anyone explain what I should be doing for this?

TPSdot is the threshold at which the acceleration will kick in. that means you can control how MS will respond to the throttle displacement.

Accel Time is the amount of time where the enrichment is active

deaccel fuel cut reduces the pulse width when you have released the acceleration fast.

the V/s accel bins means the voltage change coming from the TPS reading over a certain period (s). example is 2V/s, with reference to the 5V which is a wide open throttle, 2V over 5V is 40%, meaning you have opened the throttle 40% in one second.

Try reading the manual also, there is a portion there where you can adjust the accel bins
