Shift light with MSII ?

Is it possible with MSII, I know it is with MSI.

You could prob set a general output to come on at low MAP and HIGH RPM indicating to shift. Though when you are in 5th gear it'll lit anyhow because there wouldn't be a input for that. I was thinking of doing this myself since my car has an up shift light. But who needs these amenities when you can tune your ECU.

Clifton,
Yes, you can use the spare outputs to configure the LEDs to do this.
For example, you can set:
- PM3 - Injection LED,
- rpm > 4500,
- hysteresis = 0 ,
- power on = 0,
- trigger = 1
- PM5 - Warmup LED,
- rpm > 5000,
- hysteresis = 0 ,
- power on = 0,
- trigger = 1
- PM4 - Accel LED,
- rpm > 5500,
- hysteresis = 0 ,
- power on = 0,
- trigger = 1
This will light the LED (which could be mounted remotely) from left to right as your rpm rises. You can also use different color LEDs for each rpm, to provide a more striking visual clue.

I gutted my proform shift ("crap") light and hooked it up to one of the spare outputs. I simply used the transistor inside of the shift light to handle the higher voltage and triggered it with one of the spare outputs, one of the ilde control outputs I think. Works great, and I am using MSII V3 board.

I am using PWM idle so my IAC outputs were free. I am using one to fire my autometer mini shift light directly. Works well with the spare output settings.

Would these be the 3 LED's on the board? If not what pin number would they be? I'm just wiring everything now and want to add whatever I need to the DB37 plug for later.
