I was just wondering if the megaSquirtII system is compatible with subarus distibutorless ignition system, and if i can utilize the stock sensors. i plan on running the system piggyback so my speedometer and other gauges will function properly. if anyone knows anything about this or knows anyone that has installed a megasquirt on a late model subaru, please let me know. Thanks!!

A friend of mine own a Subaru STI. I think it is a 2004. It has a fly by wire throttle system. That sounds scary to me. But it can be done. So how late of a model is this?
This guy is running piggyback with a fly by wire throttle:

His truck has some impressive numbers as well.....
As for me I'm running a 1999 Saturn. All my stock ECU does is run my gas gauge and my speedometer. My I lost my cruse control and air conditioner. But the AC may be more because it is out of refrigerant. I just need a way to kick the fan on b/c the Megasquirt now controls that.
Anyhow I'd subscribe to this message board:

Plenty of people running MS on Subarus that can help you out.
Good luck,
