Autotune question
I have my LC-1 Wide band o2 sensor almost installed. It should be finished tomorrow.
I have run autotune with a narrow band sensor, so I know a little bit about how it works. I understand changing the .ini file for boost/vacuum and RPMs, but how do I adjust for the desired air fuel ratio I want? I have megatune 2.25 and MSnS 024s. Do I just change the EGO switch point voltage under EGO control to what ever ratio I want autotune to tune to? Also the AFR targest for VE table button is greyed out on my megatune. How can I use this?

The AFR Table is "greyed out" because you are using a Narrow Band 02 .
A NB 02 is very accurate but only in a very small range ,
right around 14.7 to 1 , this is sorta workable to get your VE Table
"close" but it's only good for light throttle cruise ,
and for that 14 to 1 is on the rich side ,
Idle and High Load areas usually need to be richer than 14 to 1 .
When you install your WB 02 and change the appropriate settings the
AFR Table will be availible for you to adjust ,
it can't be used with a NB 02 .
It has occured to me that the AFR Table gets it's RPM and kPa numbers
from your current VE Table ,
so if you'd like me to make an AFR Table for you make sure you post a
copy of your VE.vex file .
You also need to specify wether you want
max gas mileage , max performance , or in-between the two .
If you pick max gas mileage expect to sacrifice some
smoothness when going between closed and light throttle at cruise .

I installed the wideband sensor and controller. I changed my .ini file for the appropriate wideband controller. In Megatune I changed the EGO control pull down to wideband, and I still have the AFR table greyed out. I am using megatune 2.25 and MSnS 024s.
My Ve table is so far off right now I don't think it would do you any good. However, I was playing with tuning it a little today and the wideband sensor sure helps?
Can you give the proper settings in the EGO control pull down for Auto tune. I still have it set to generate cross over points for MS tweak

I figured it out
I figured out why I am still greyed out. Under general Lambda sensor targets, you have to check AFR tables on.
Still need help on how to set the ego stuff though

I'll tell you what has worked best for me with AutoTune .
First set your "Lag Factors" to 100 on your MAP , TPS and WB 02 .
Next set your "02 authority" to 3% , "Active above RPM" to 300 ,
"Active below TPS" to 100% , and "Active below MAP" to 110kPa .
You mention "MSTweak" is this in your "Custom.ini" file ?
I haven't looked into MSTweak yet .
To make AutoTune more user friendly I've reworked it a little ,
see the attached file , cut and paste it into your Custom.ini file and
delete the original Auto Tune stuff .
It's already setup the way I use it , it's very fast and can sometimes
create some weird spikes or holes the first 2 or 3 times you run it ,
you will have to go in to your VE Table and manually "average-out"
any obvious radical changes , each consecutive time that you run it these
radical departures will become less and less radical .
There are also some bins that are seldom used which you will have to
"guesstimate" by comparing them to the other
numbers that AutoTune did have an opportunity to change .
What about your AFR Table , did you get it where you want it ?

like it to be at any particular VE Bin by simply entering an AFR number
in the corresponding AFR Table Bin .
Auto Tune is going to try to make your actual AFR match the numbers
in your AFR Table .
The AFR Table numbers are "Targets" that AutoTune is trying to achieve .
Do you have an idea as to what the mixture should be where and why ?

I believe MS Tweak was the precursor to Autotune. Basically you drive and record a log. Then you run the log through MS Tweak and it takes your VE table abd modifies it according the o2 sensor crosser points from rich to lean as recorded in the log.
Also where do I edit the "Lag Factors" to 100 on my MAP , TPS and WB 02 .
Is that in the ini file or in autotune
