I know the 24-1 wheel won't work with MSII but read a post about a 24-20 wheel. Has anyone with a Toyota got this to work? I would rather keep the CPS than make a 36-1 wheel work.

The 24-1 and similar m - n wheels should work with MSII using v2.6+ code (wheel decoder feature). I'm not sure what you mean by a 24 - 20 wheel, but if you meant 24 - 2 wheel, then that too will work.

he meant four teeth equally spaced for a 4 cylinder motor. (i think).
such that any ms can understand it, not just wheel decoder ones.

The Toyotas typically use a 24/2 wheel (2 sets of wheels with 24 on one and 2 on the other) rather than a 24-1 (single wheel with one missing tooth)
This is not presently supported in MS2, but Ken and I are hoping to add the code for it.

24-20...I read a post of someone leaving only 4 teeth on out of the 24. I think it was a Honda though.

24-20 has been done (24 tooth wheel -minus- 20 teeth; leaving only 4 teeth 90 degrees apart) on a bluetop 16v 4age motor (1985-1987 ae86). That will work fine as it will be one tooth per ignition event, and will work ok with COP, wasted spark, or even simple distributor.
that was how some of the original COP's were done in the drifting.

or, 24-2 will work also if you dont want to get gready with the grinder and risk messing up the weight.

Adding 24-1 would be great, as it would not require permenant modifications to perfectly good parts. I would vote a big "YES" to that feature! theres plenty of 24-1 wheels out there and I get emails about them on a daily basis.
