Megatune reading rich Innovate LC-1 reading properly

I have verified all the LC-1 grounds are tied together & 3.7 volts at AD5-1 on MSII daughtercard. This voltage should equate to 18:1 A/F ratio however Megatune reads 12.1. Logwoks2 software does show 18:1 & the LC-1 is working properly.
During a portion of the dyno run I see A/F ratio jumping up to 14.6 leading me to beieve the signal is there but not configured or scaled properly. See attached datalog of A/F ratio.
How can I verify in the Megasquirt-II.ini file that everything is set properly for the innovate LC-1?[/quote]

I determined that I I had not calibrated the Ego sensor in the calibrate sensor menu of megatune. All is well

Can someone tell me where exactly this calibration menu is? I'm having trouble getting my LC1 Wideband to work correctly in MT. It just reads like 8.89 all the time on the AFR , and like .5 volts all the time (jumps around very little).
I'm running the latest version of MSNS-E and 2.25 release of MT. I'm very new to MS, and just got my car idling a few days ago. I have INNOVATE_LC1_DEFAULT set in the settings.ini.
I've been reading that people are just using default WB, and manually calibrating their LC1's with their settings, but I can't find where to calibrate the sensor. There is nothing under Calibrate TPS under tools like some people have suggested.

First off, do you have the LC-1 sharing the ground with your MegaSquirt? Do you have a 470 ohm resistor in between the analog output of the LC-1 and the o2 input of the MS?
Then you need to configure:
In the MegaTune Configurator:
# set INNOVATE_0_5_LINEAR "Innovate, PLX 0-5V 10-20:1 AFR"
In MegaTune:
Set to 'Wideband Sensor'
In the LC-1 Configuration tool: Configure the Analog output you are using for 0-5V 10-20:1 AFR.
The calibration tool is MS-II only, MSnS-E doesn't have this so that's why you don't see it....

Yes

No
Then you need to configure:

I have it set to INNOVATE_LC1_DEFAULT right now. I tried each of the Innovate ones in the .ini and the default one was the only one that ever showed any life.
In MegaTune:
Set to 'Wideband Sensor'
Done.
In the LC-1 Configuration tool: Configure the Analog output you are using for 0-5V 10-20:1 AFR.
Done.

That explaines that
How important is the resistor? I've heard people running with or without it with no issues.
The sensor is working, in Logworks it reports looks like an accurate reading (moves around, richens up with throttle, leans when let off). In MT though, it just sits at 16-16.8 AFR constantly. Although ealier today, it was jumping around, but still not that accurate in MT.

I don't have the resistor in place and I noticed that my AFR in MT was ~0.2 A/F leaner than what my XD-1 was showing. My switch point is set to 2.35V.

I definitely recommend the resistor-- without it there's a slight chance the DAC could be overloaded by the MS and you could end up having to pull the LC-1 out for warranty repair. The resistor is easy prevention for that.

I plan on adding the resistor once I get it all setup correctly. But I don't need it to show the correct reading do I?
I have the .ini file setup to the INNOVATE_LINEAR "Innovate, PLX 0-5V 10-20:1 AFR".
I went into LM Programmer and set the correct analog output to "AFR". Still nothing in MT. Just sits on 10.8/10.9 constantly now. Logworks still records the correct AFR.

Sounds like in the process of setting this all up you may have overloaded your DAC without that resistor... send an email to Innovate Support and they can help you determine this quickly. If that is the case they will take care of you for sure...

How about my ~0.2 leaner in MT issue Jerry?
