MS-II Suspect Faulty

Dear All,
I am having a problem with my MS-II. It's in a v2.2 board,+12v
connected to pin 16 of CPU socket. Version 2.35 firmware installed.
When I open the Realtime Display window in MT and move the O2 pot
fully CW and CCW, I can only get a reading of 400mV on the display.
My multimeter tells me that the voltage is changing from 0v to 1.1v
on Pin 28 of the CPU socket. The other analogue inputs seem to be
responding correctly to their input values. If I remove the MS-II
CPU and put in a MS-I CPU (with pin 16 removed for the +12v supply
onto the MS-II) running v3.0 firmware, then MT Realtime Display
correctly shows the O2 sensor voltage. I conclude that my MS-II is
faulty somehow, like a damaged analogue input, but is there any other
possible reason for this? I am using Megatune 2.25 latest version

Thanks, Dave.

Dave, did you do a calibration? i've read many people asking similar
questions, and theyve been told to do that. dont ask me how, i had a
look, and couldnt find it in the menus, but im sure its in the
manual... could be something else too...

whizzo944,

As Fred suggests, go to 'Tools/Calibrate AFR table' in MegaTune, select the appropriate EGO type, and click on okay. The program will generate 1024 entries and download them to MS-II. Then your EGO will work properly.

If that doesn't work, let us know.

Thank you guys, doing the Calibrate AFR thing fixed the problem. Maybe I should have read a bit more about MS-II before diving in. Lesson learnt.
