Switching to Hybrid Alpha-N on a turbo engine.

Post by fscott »

From the reading I've been doing tonight, it seems like I might be better off using Hybrid Alpha-N instead of SD. I've got a turbo'd bike with a high idle MAP (72KPA). There's a few things that I need to clear up first.

I'm Extra 024s13 code on a 3.0 PCB.

1. Hybrid Alpha-N can handle boost, right?

2. In Megatune on the Advanced Code Options page, there's an option for Hybrid Alpha-N and just below it there's an option for KPA in Alpha-N Calcs. What's the difference between these two?

3. I need to connect the MAP sensor upstream of the throttle, but downstream from the turbo so it can see boost coming on, right?
