Does anyone have a GM DIS successfully installed on their car??? If so how easy was it to install and configure?

Yes I had it running until the MS Tweeked out and held the Injectors Open and washed my rings....

But it was EASY Once I got all the Settings right....
The only issue I had was a surge when the ALT was under LOAD...

I dont know what Ign module your going to use but the GM DIS Page should have all the info you need to get up and running

hey primate, did you build your MS2 yourself? Did you intitally set it up for the hall sensor, and then change to VR? I'm about halfway done building mine and wanted to verify some things.
Thanks!

Ever figure out why your MS "tweaked out."

No my was built for me and Both Circuts for the most part are there ... how ever the person who built it added a few components i didnt need.... and i removed them... (thought they were causing my first Settings issue)

but yea its jumpered for Hall Sensor and MT is set up exactly as it is on the GM DIS link in my first post....

EXCEPT I found that a Calculated Crank trigger would give me a MUCH softer start then trigger rise...

Other then RPM loss when a load was placed on the Alt... (Any electrical unit ie headlights , break lights, heater.. ) And the GM IAC Step issue ... It ran nice once I got all the settings right...

Too bad it "Tweeked out" on me as well and washed my rings ..

went to drive the car one day and I turn the key ... and the Injector light came on and Stayed on.... Wasnt sure what was up so I turned it over a couple times...

Pulled the key out ... trying to reset the MS.... DIDN'T work... well apparently with my 50 lb injectors that was long enough to was the rings in cylinders 2,3,4 .... #1 was ok 180 psi... the rest got the JAM...

Of course I pulled the MS and looked over it and ended up just haveing to reflash it....

but un benonced to me i had already flodded the engine... and upon putting the MS back in and driving around... I further Worsened the condition of the rings....

So I have pulled the engine and Im in the process of re ringing... If thts all thts needed

I hope thats what you were askin about.... and i didnt waste 5 minutes ... of dinner eating time...

that's weird, i wouldn't think that little would be able to do that much damage to the rings. It took a while for me to wash down my rings.
