3 wire ignition coil ?

I'm currently using a 3 wire ignition coil on my engine and was wondering if i can still use it with msII ignition? BMW coil (+)(-)(sig)
Single cylinder
electromotive XDI ignition currently

Are you running a distributer/dizzy or is there like 6 of these coils?

The next thing to find out is what is this majic coi looking for as a signal 12 volt square wave. 5 volt square wave, fire when siginal goes from + to 0 volt or fire when volts are applied to the signal pin. This is all best determined with a dual trace scope and a running BMW. If thats not a choice then creative engineering has to take over. On the MS documents search for "trigger return" The general answer is all this can be delt with but the tough part is in the details.
