Any reason to do a funny bank fire sequence?

For a Chevy, is the consensus that it will make no difference at low rpm's how you wire up the injector banks? I was thinking of doing cylinders 1, 8, 4, 3 on one and 6, 5, 7, 2 on the other because that's the order they fire in. So would it help idle? Or hurt if I got the timing wrong, i.e. one bank was fueling while the other half of the cylinders were sparking, etc.

This has been discussed in the past, and the consensus has been that it makes no difference. I wired mine 1-3-5-7 (driver's side) to INJ1, and the passenger side to INJ2 and it runs/idles just fine. I believe this is how most are wired, and I believe this is how stock TPIs were wired.
