LOL, cheers Don, im getting taylor (USA) to make me leads but they don't have the resistor type plug caps, they are readily available but seem to have varying resistors, is about 5000-Ohms what im looking?? & is copper the best conductor for a strong spark?
I'll need to look upwhat supressed is as well in plug lead terms!
Can Carbon leads (that have a higher resistance than copper) be used instead of copper leads & resistor caps?

Resistor spark plugs without resistor caps should be fine. We run that sort of setup on a lot of our project cars.

Bugger!!! I've already ordered on the basis of the suggestions in another thread I started!

Belt & braces - this one of those cases where "more goodness" doesn't screw up the recipe. That, and the non-resistor caps are pretty much the same price as resistor caps.
Not to worry - we haven't lead you astray ...

Not worth trying to change the order then? They're being made up specially but I had to order the resistor caps separately as Taylor cable products don't use them

You're serious - specially made resistor caps?

Any bike shop will have NGK resistor caps with 5k or 10k values that will pop right onto your engine ...

Yes, indeed I am serious. I Had to get Taylor to terminate 1 end of the leads for LS2 coils & the other end left unterminated. I got blue resistor caps off eBay USA to fit myself (the leads are blue)
NOTHING I do is straight forward!!

Guys, how much fuel do you know how to inject? Just go by the Wideband o2 sensor? & when the turbo isn't boosting is it best to set a A/F ratio that's for a N/A motor? ie 13:1 ? (Turbo's run at about 11.5:1 dont they?)

grippo wrote:Its set in TS, but exactly how depends on the code version. The best code to use for the Dual Sensor setup is code 2.920. If you use 3.8x code, you have to disable auto_trigger.
Grippo, i've finally got my hands on the hardware, when i right click i get this though, so how do i save the file or load it? I have no 'save as' option
