What error message do you get when you attempt to capture a data log with TunerStudio?

I didn't notice any error messages when I recorded. Where would I see one of those @? I just don't see any rpm recordings. I think I may have to read up on how to use the dataloging next. I know it will be a very important tool on figuring this out.

OK.

I got a few minutes to attempt another try. While looking into my manual I did discover that you test the crank sensor for 2V... DC. However, that is after you hookup some sort of test circuit to the thing.

What I did do is go ahead and run another injector test strait into the port. Cranked her over... she started again for a few seconds... Noticed that there was a RPM signal on the TunerStudio!!! So I ran a log of it. Now I can't figure out how to post it on here. What I did do is figure out how to make a pic of the Log. So I loaded that onto photobucket and hope it helps. Let me know if you want to see another "pic" of the log and I will add some different parameters if you would like.

I wonder why there is no longer an rpm signal while cranking?

Just figured out it was some wrong settings is all. I now have my rpm signal while cranking.

I got the bike to idle a very rich 11.something @ 2000 rpms and hold it... but when I screwed the idle adjustment to lower the rpms... the bike ran richer and richer until it died/fogged up the garage. Do you think it is because of the single cylinder "Thumper" throwing wild MAP signals @ lower rpms?

I will just play around with a different setting here or there until I figure this out.

Thanks

I'm not sure how warm the bike was when you did this, but it's generally best to try nursing it along until it's hot and then dial in the idle - you may have also had to contend with warmup enrichment. You will need to adjust the VE at low MAP readings to get the air/fuel ratio you want.
