I am assuming you are referring to the two holes at the upper right next to the regulator - probably filled with solder from the wave-solder operation.

The two holes are 0.178" from the top edge of the board (ampseal to the left for board positioning reference) - this is the Y coordinate. The X coordinate, measured from the right-hand side of the board, is 0.6 " for left-most hole and 0.2" for the right-most hole - the holes are 0.4" apart from each other.

The VB921 heatsink can be moved a bit by loosening the single mounting screw. Also, the board slides around a bit on the case rails. It is possible to get the heatsink to rest against the side of the case.

So is it safe to use Vref to power a hall sensor, or is this asking too muchof it? Sorry, I have no idea how much a hall sensor uses..
