Lance, I will go back thru the tips section... I have been thru it but it wouldnt hurt to check everything again and try some of the ideas.

The battery voltage thing surprises me. Im running a new red top Optima and Ive had a battery charger on it to keep it hot. All the connections were cleaned when we did the harness so I should be good. The starter seems to be spinning real good... so good in fact we now have created a starter problem... we smoked it by trying to long to get it started... I know better but she was just so close to starting. Oddly enough the replacement starter wont work either... I must be having a run of bad luck.

I'll post some more info when we get a starter to cooperate and I get to play with some of the numbers. Jerry from DIY has been a real trooper trying to help me get this thing going ( I bought the MSII assembled from him) but he has never done an EDIS6 system and we are both running out of ideas.

Thanks again for your help.

Ron

Well, we got it to start. Seems that the output leads of the EDIS control module we have do not follow the published info on EDIS. Once we got four more cylinders to join in on the fun, she started.

Next issue. starts but we cant keep it running. If we kick up the req_fuel it will run but it hunts by 300-400 rpm. Any thoughts.
