What firmware are you using on the MS1, I cant open the MSQ file.

A bunch of people running the same car as me ran with the 12cyl/12inj fine, including myself for 5 months. It is not masking a tach problem, it simply corrects for the tach signal being 3 times what it should be.

It sounds to me like you have a short in your injector wiring. Does MegaSquirt work normally on the stim? Have you connected a test lamp across the injector connectors to see if the injectors are firing full time?

Are your cranking pulse widths tuned to your engine (i.e., not copied from someone else's set-up)? You really do need to tune these to YOUR enigne, this is very important.

Another less likely possibility is that the fuel pressure regulator diaphragm has ruptured, allowing fuel directly into the manifold from the fuel rail.

And make sure you pull the plugs and allow them to dry completely before trying again after flooding an engine, as an engine usually will not start if the plugs are wet with fuel (and it will seem as if you aren't getting spark, but too much fuel).

Lance.

I started the car today on the MS with the stock injectors and NA map. I am going to try to start it up with the same map, with adjusting the req fuel/cranking PWs to the larger injectors. Wish me luck!
