Downloader v2.00 not working

In an attempt to fix the misfire on over run problem I am having, I thought I might download the latest version of the code v3.780 to the microsquirt V2 controller on my bike , upgrading from version of code v3.760.

However, the downloader show the following message and the code will not download to the controller.

Any chance it's on the wrong COM port? A signature of "S" looks like you're trying to communicate with a mouse driver or other setup that echoes back every character.

Thanks for the reply, .... Not sure, but I did the port checker and the only available port showing activity was the one I used, but I will double check and get back to you.

You are right'ish again, it turns out that for some strange reason the com5 port that is validated on the port checker and that is used by tuner studio is not recognised with the downloader, so I changed USB ports and found one that was recognised and the downloader now works and I have loaded the latest code.

Problem is that with no change in the settings the engine will not start or run. It cranks over and half catches a couple of times on one cylinder and then just keeps cranking.

I tried the flood clear process and the engine fires up momentarily during the flood clear, but once the fuel is burnt it ceases to run.

I have attached the msq a a short datalog

( the bike started and ran fine on the V3.760 of the code, but I had a problem with the engine missing badly and virtually dying on the rev overrun after hard accel. I found that I could keep it alive by pulling in the clutch and playing the throttle until it cleared and ran smoothly again )

Then try less cranking fuel.
