The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.

Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview.While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. Hey guys new to this so any help will be appreciated... im having issues with the ignition/spark side of things on this suzuki vitara G16B, with a 7 pin dizzy, all other sensors are wired up, got a wave form/pulse coming from the crank/cam sensor in the dizzy which i wired to the silver coax IGN wire on the microsquirt (is that right??) im still wanting to use the igniter in the dizzy to run the coil (is that right or should i just wire the microsquirt directly to the coil and skip the igniter???) any wiring diagrams on this would help if someone has already done this would be great!!! also ive heard rumours/reports from local performance shops that its very hard to get the microsquirt to run with this particular ignition/dizzy setup because you cant get an rpm signal out of the dizzy cause its not strong enough??? any clarifications or suggestions/help on this topic would be much appreciated thanks
