Comms issues with Microsquirt

Post by Jay »

Hi, was hoping someone could help me out with the following:

When starting up Megatune and connecting to the Microsquirt, I'm getting the following error messages:

1) Warning: Megasquirt-II.ini:0298 Conditional check references undefined value 'n2o' only first reference will be repeated

2) Controller code version does not match signature in Megasquirt-II.ini.
Expected: "MSIIrev. 2.88770" (found in ini file)
Received: "MSIIrev. 2.88600" (from controller)
Table corruption may occurr.

- I can connect to the Microsquirt controller none the less.
- I"m running Windows XP, Service pack 2
- The downloaded version of Megatune that I'm using came from the Microsquirt web site:

http://www.microsquirt.info/ MegaTune225p3_(MicroSquirt).exe

Any help to get this resolved is greatly appreciated.

I'd update it to the lastest code - your tuning software is set up for one slightly outdated version of the code, the code loaded to the ECU is a different, but also slightly out of date, version of the code. See this link for details.
