TPS Gauge

Post by CSM »

I don't know if this is normal or not, but it seems that the TPS gauge in Megatune is a percentage of 5V, regardless of what the max and min TPS voltages are configured as. For example, my TPS ranges from .67 volts closed to 4.09v wide open. I configured these adc (around 136 and 833) values as the closed and open values, and when I move the throttle and look at the gauge, closed throttle shows about 12%, and full throttle is about 82%, rather than 0 and 100%. Anyone else have this problem? My temp and MAP gauges seem to be working properly. The only other input that is giving me trouble is the crank sensor (a VR), it's not registering any engine speed whatsoever, but I don't think that's related to Megatune.

Update:

So, I switched to the latest code version, megasquirt II ini and restarted megatune, saving a default values file under the new code, and my TPS gauge is working in the full range, so that's a good sign. Now, Ill try some things and see if VR sensor starts working.
